Don’t expect a living town with plenty of activities. If you’re a true nature lover, you probably don’t need anything else too. Anyways, let’s dive in and get you to know some of the gems.
Fornalutx has a few restaurants that are worth a visit. First of all, we have Restaurant Ca N’ Antuna. This is the oldest restaurant in Fornalutx! For 50 years it’s been run by the same family. Another gem of a restaurant is called Es Turo. Both restaurants offer stunning views over the valley and mountainsides. These views are still the same as the time when once Fornalutx was nothing more than an Arab farm. And when you’d like to enjoy a Mediterranean menu in a 400-year-old stone house, you can have a visit at Restaurant Café Med that’s situated just off the main square. And lastly, I want to mention Molón which has reasonable prices and great quality food.
Fornalutx is known to be very tranquil and peaceful, and the hotels here perfectly take over this vibe. These hotels are found amongst breathtaking mountain views, and biking and hiking trails. Let’s name a few of them.

Before I said that the village attracts thousands of visitors per year during the summer months. This is more than the total amount of residents which is 700. You will see that these people know what the slow-paced Mallorcan way of life is like. They will look and feel very relaxed and this is how you could be, too. Well known people such as Jason Donovan, Bob Geldof, and Hallie Berry come here to enjoy peace. Also, many artists, photographers and writers come here so now and then. Fornalutx is a fantastic place for inspiration and creativity, due to the unique landscape and beautiful mountains. Great tip: an amazing experience is to be in Fornalutx at sunset.
