The Founder
Always passionate about design, Hester renounced corporate life to attend the prestigious Inchbald School of Design in London, where she won an award for spatial planning. After completing projects for London-based design studios and overseeing her first solo renovation in Paris, Hester moved to Amsterdam to found BÜRO KIF.

Cosmopolitan vibes
For each space, the studio handpicks vintage and antique items from within Europe. Thereafter, these objects are mixed with contemporary elements and art specifically curated for the project. Having developed her style over a decade-long sprint in London and copious time in Paris, Hester currently resides in Amsterdam. She is proud to act as Büro Kif’s creative director. In a phrase, Hester “translates her taste into interiors reminiscent of international movie settings”.
