Marea

Marea is a residential development of 65 apartments at Finca Cortesin, the most exclusive private estate on the Costa del Sol, designed in partnership with Missoni, the Italian fashion and interiors house whose name has defined the upper register of global design for more than seventy years. The project occupies four low-rise blocks within the grounds of Finca Cortesin, each positioned on the hillside to maximise views across the golf course and towards the Mediterranean, in a setting that is genuinely without peer on the southern coast of Spain.

Missoni's involvement is not limited to the interior decoration. The brand's aesthetic, its mastery of colour, texture, layering and the relationship between pattern and space, defines the entire sensory experience of living at Marea. The palette moves between warm neutrals and coastal blues, with Missoni's signature textile patterns appearing in wall coverings, soft furnishings and surface treatments throughout the common areas and individual residences. The result is a home that communicates a quality of taste that architecture alone cannot achieve.
